Sue & Chris would like to welcome you to La Confiance
at Champ d’oeuf our delightful Chambre d’hote and self
catering Gite in the South Loire region of France, in the
Brenne Natural Parc, known as the land of a 1,000
lakes, where you can walk, birdwatch, or even sit on the beach
at Bellbouche. In the Springtime be sung to sleep at night by
the Nightingales who love to seranade our Guests!

La
Confiance is perfect for adults and children, our garden is
completely child friendly, perfect for games of hide &
seek, while Mum & Dad relax with a chilled glass of
wine. Have a look at what our area offers for children

Sue & Chris live on
site, completely separate from La Confiance, so whether coming
to us self catering or bed & breakfast you will be
completely independant from us with your own front door, but
we will be on hand with a welcoming coffee, tea or glass of
local wine to help you plan your days out, we have detailed
maps of our local area, with walks and cycle rides we have
been on marked out. Great after a day out or early in the
morning before breakfast. Or walk down to our local village
Martizay and enjoy a mid morning coffee in the Tabac with a
pain au chocolat from the Boulangerie next door, delicious! Alternatively, spend a delightful day at the Chateau at Azay le Ferron, only 3 minutes from us by car, or an enjoyable walk.
Once you've discovered the delights of our local area, visit
the Brenne Natural Parc, and of course the chateaux and
wineries of the Loire.
We offer you either Self Catering accommodation or Bed & Breakfast
with optional evening dinner, all cooked by Chris who is a professional Chef,
using local produce, eggs from our neighbours hens, and organic vegetables
from our garden, we can cater for any special dietary requirements. Your meals willl be served to you farmhouse style in our dining room, or when weather permits
outside in our courtyard. If staying in La Confiance self catering gite you are
very welcome to join us for breakfast or dinner – have a break from cooking without
worrying about translating menus! or alternatively we can supply you with a meal delivered to your table,
great after a long day out sightseeing in the area.
La Confiance is a beautifully restored stone cottage dating
back to the last century, with three family en suite bedrooms,
the ground floor suite has a large double bedroom plus a
living area, with a double sofa bed and an ensuite shower
room, this could be suitable for people with slight disabilities.
Where Are We
We are situated in the Centre Region of France, in the
South Loire Valley in the Brenne Natural Parc.
We are very close to the New A28 motorway which runs from
the North of France through to the South.
If you are staying with us you have complete use of the
garden and your own summer house with bbq and sitting area.
We have provided a badminton area, and toys and swings for
the children.
We hope you enjoy looking through our

La Confiance is set in 2 acres of completely private garden.
In the morning enjoy your continental style breakfast watching
the birds and wildlife in our garden.
Enjoy the peace and
tranquility, sit and catch up on your reading, we have an
extensive library, for you to choose from, or enjoy the many
delights of the area. We are close to the Chateaux and
wineries of the Loire valley, and our local town Azay le
Ferron has its own chateau set in acres of beautiful parkland.
We are situated in the Brenne Natural Parc which is a delight
for bird watchers and nature lovers
alike.
